The job requires attention to employees by motivating them to succeed and improve. This is not a position where one can sit back, forget about the people around them, and do their own thing.Must be able to put on a happy face and address any issues in a professional manner. In addition to interacting with employees every day, the Assistant Manager will assist customers when they have questions, concerns or complaints. ![]() People skills and customer service are a must in this job.Must be a good teacher who tries to help employees who are having difficulty picking up new skills. Recruiting and interviewing quality people to staff Hyper Kidz, as well as making sure these new employees transition as smoothly as possibly into their jobs.Able to stay focused during busy times and delegate tasks to employees to keep business running smoothly.Staff and customers will assume that you have everything worked out for them Able to handle and manage many tasks at once.Assistant managers are leaders and should represent Hyper Kidz and themselves well by acting as a role model to the people reporting to them. Supervise several staff in addition to handling general complaints, last-minute schedule changes, equipment mess-ups, and inventory problems.The Assistant Manager will need to keep a level head, be able to multitask, and have excellent people skills. There will be a lot of responsibility and this job requires great leadership skills. The Assistant Manager will assist and support all of the responsibilities of the General Manager. The objective of this position is to achieve or surpass Hyper Kidz’s profit model by meeting or exceeding sales and expense targets, while maintaining a high level of guest service, employee productivity, operational effectiveness, and promotional activity.
